Meet Tony
My name is Tony Reda. I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Arizona. I am a proud father of two amazing sons and have been married to my beautiful wife for 29 years.
I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Colorado Christian University earning the highest distinction awarded to students in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a proud affiliate of Christian Counseling Services of Arizona, and Roots Marriage and Family Therapy.
I provide in-person and virtual therapy sessions for individuals, pre-marital and married couples, adolescents, and families in Surprise and Goodyear, AZ.
My supervision is conducted by Elijah Steinbrecher, LMFT, a Clinical Supervisor accredited by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

Services
Couples therapy allows partners to work conjointly with Tony. He will lead a structured format for couples that are seeking better communication, in need of healing wounds, building trust, and increase inimacy. Couples can also inquire about Marriage Intensives to maximize time and expidte their theraputic journey.
Tony also counsels pre-marital couples and helps two individuals prepare to join in matrimony as one.
Individual work in the theraputic setting will look and feel different for everyone. Tony will work alongside you to address the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that have been preventing you from living your best life. It's time to talk with Tony!
Family therapy examines and builds love and connection through a systemic lens. Working with youth, adolescents, and parents, and addressing multigenerational dynamics allows the family system to function at optimal levels.
Tony offers Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Clients who want to reduce somatic symptoms and experience true holistic healing will address the "root causation" of unresolved internal strife. Whether from trauma, shame, or guilt in addiction, reprocessing targets wounds that are maladaptively stored memories. EMDR reprocess those memories to become adaptive and healed through evidenced-based treatment.
Talking with Tony will afford clients a transformative experience to heal by accessing and unburdening their internal protectors, helping exiles, and embracing the wounded "inner child" parts through Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Life stages and major transitions can be extremely challenging. Oftentimes, grief needs a witness to heal, in order to continue on your journey. Talk with Tony about the 5 stages of grief: Depression, Anger, Bargaining, Denial, and Acceptance. Allow yourself the opportunity to process changes and heal.

In 2023, I began an internship with Christian Counseling Services of Arizona while pursuing my master's degree. This organization boasts over 40 counselors across 30 locations, all of whom are faith-based therapists with a strong Christ-centered approach, integrating psychological principles within a Christian worldview. The weekly teachings, supervision, and support I receive empower me to fulfill my calling as a therapist. I feel honored and blessed to work with such incredible individuals and devout followers of Christ.
